hey im looking for an some kind of pedal that would be good for splitting my guitar signal and running one straight to my amp and the other through all of my effects so i could bypass all of my pedals if i wanted to. I have seen some a/b/y boxes that could do this but i dont really want the Y option because i will never use it. The only box that i have seen without the Y is the boss a/b pedal and i read lots of bad reviews on this. any suggestions? Something that will be as transparent as possible

I recently bought an ADA MP-1 and a Behringer Virtualizer. I'm using the tube power amp of my Marshall to power it, but I'm planning on selling that soon. I was thinking of getting a Peavey Classic tube power amp, but I saw Vito Bratta's rig and he used an ADA MP-1 which I have, a BBE Sonic Maximizer, some effects, and a Carvin FET power amp. I really like his tone, and since I have the same preamp as him, the only think I don't know about is the solid state power amp.
How does he get such a good tone with a solid state power amp? Should I get one? Or should I get a tube power amp? I know most people will say get a tube amp, but I really like his tone, and my rig would be quite similar if I got the same power amp.

Hi folks, I'm getting three SD humbuckers as replacements for the stock pickups on my strat. It will be the hot rails SHR-1 at the bridge, the cool rails or little '59 at the mid and the cool rails or little '59 at the neck. I looked at SD's wiring instructions here:

I'm looking for a neck pickup (sc size, but humbucker) for my LTD Skulls and snakes guitar. I put a Distortion in the bridge and it's great. I do a lot of solos on the neck pup as well as clean stuff so I'm looking for something to match (or come close to) the output of the DD but will get a good clean sound also. I thought about the Hot rails but I've heard that it doesn't clean up well when you back off the volume. It has a Duncan Designed pickup (HR-101) that matched the output of the Demon I took out and it's ok, but it isn't nearly as hot as the DD that I just put in. Any suggestions?

I picked one up in my favorite guitar store the other day, and was messing with it for a moment before I realized that it was a Squier. This thing is very nice. Solid, with neck and body binding. Great feel to the neck.

I'm not really going for the relic look. I just prefer dull hardware. I can't keep shiny chrome clean for the life of me. My question is what are some good ways to make it dull? I tried very fine sand paper on some spare parts i had but it just looked all scratched up.

Doing some research I read that audibly, the 30 wouldn't be way louder than the 15. The 15 would break up a lot earlier, but listening to both out of a 1x12 speaker they would sound equally loud.
