Guitar and Pedal FOR SALE...possibly
Just testing the waters on both of these objects. I haven't decided for sure whether I want to sell them but if there is interest I will.

I need to apologize to Screamin Demon users
I know that in the past I have gone on record as being a Screamin' Demon non-supporter. I've been a JB/Distortion man through and through. I may have even said such things as, quot;might as well call it a Squeaking Demon, or a Non-screaming demon, etc.quot; Well, I must now go on record as saying that I was... you ready?.... WRONG.

P90's: SG Classic v. Les Paul Jr.
How would you compare these two axes? The SG obviously has two pups compared to the LPJR's one, so I'm thinking it's a bit more versatile. However it's also probably thinner sounding due to the LPJr's thicker body mass. I think of the SG Classic/Special tones and I think of The Who at Live at Leeds or the Isle Of Wight. It sounded like Pete was playing 5 different guitars at those gigs as he manipulated the tone and volume controls to get so many different sounds. I also think of early Santana. When I think of the LPJr, I think of Mississippi Queen and current Green Day. Balls-to-the-wall rock. Haven't heard much cleans from that guitar.

Pulled the trigger on a new guitar and pups
Well I did it, I bought one of those Floyd Rose guitars, slapped in a distortion set. Really great guitar! The speedloader is AWESOME! Had it set and running it 5 minutes.

new strat pickups
hey guys..
i am the proud owner of a completely stock 04 or 05 american deluxe strat. i love everything about it but the pickups. they dont accurately reproduce what im playing and dont quite sound like a humbucker or a single coil. the s-1 switch is a cool concept but only muddies up the pickups more. im a big fan of ZZ Top and SRV which would be my first two tones to go for but i would mostly be playing those type tunes on my neck pickup.i also dabble in gnr and early metallica type stuff so i would need something that can do old school chug in the bridge. im interested in a HSS setup and so far ive decided im going to go with a tapped quarter pounder in the neck but other than that im a little clueless. maybe another QP middle? im thinking of installing an emg variable mid control to replace the bridge tone control (which i never use) to be able to sweep the frequencies..almost a modern/vintage control. anyone know of a nice low to medium output humbucker which could fit my needs?

No Load Tone Pots Done Dirt Cheap.
I was just browsing around for information on different pots when I came across this juicy page filled with comparisons between Gibson and CTS pots, as well as some other helpful information.
