it is my understanding that you file a slight intend into your saddles for your string to sit in. I don' want to go as deep as the nut, so just a good groove for the string to rest in. Am I correct? Also, I am looking to buy a set of files, and which maker/line do you suggest to do both nut and saddles?

I know it`s said the the old Boss OD/Distortion pedals that were made in Japan usually have a nicer tone than the newer versions made in Taiwan pedal. Does the same apply to Boss Chorus,Flangers,Delay ect....that were made in Japan , were the made in Japan pedals all around better?

I am bummed out about the Prosonic I was watching and how it got way past bidding range for me. I thought I would have it in the bag, but oh well. The main reason I was going after the Prosonic was for the collectable value since it was one of the limited run custom shop ones. Any ways I am looking for an amp that can get me close to this:

obviously, thats why im here.so,i have a 59/jb set (neck/bridge). for the past few months though, i have used the middle setting and turned the volume nob for the 59 to about 6. i dig this sound a lot. anyone know if a pup matches this setting?

Got a new amp today! Yay! It has this cool feature where I can select the the operating class of the rectifier. However, when I turned it on the amp was in Class A and after a while, I wanted to compare it to Class A/B. When I did this the power fuse failed immediately. I replaced the fuse and tried again, samething happened. This time I figured maybe I'm not supposed to change the rectifier settings while the amp is on. But I can't find any mention of that in the manual I downloaded.
