A homage to the best humbucker pickup in the world:

...when the first octave dividers for guitar use came out? I know that the Boss OC-2 was in the middle/late 70's but what was before that? Who had the first one, and when was it?

I went through the How To Pick a Pickup again, and noticed some things:

I've replaced almost everything on my epi les paul... and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised at how big the improvement was.

I am thinking of this combo in an ash tele, maple board...these were recommended to me over at TDPRI...has anyone here, had any experience with these two, in a similar tele...thanks in advance, emilio

I've decided to upgrade the pickups in my MIM Stratocaster, and I'd like to go for a vintage-type sounding guitar, with some extra output in the bridge.

DD3 bought new by me in 94 and have the receipt orig box. excellent conditon rubber grommet for battery closure is partially torn but works fine. 84 shipped in the cont us only
