I am thinking of this combo in an ash tele, maple board...these were recommended to me over at TDPRI...has anyone here, had any experience with these two, in a similar tele...thanks in advance, emilio
ps... sorry, if this has been covered before, my first post...
I tried a Seth with a JD, but honestly couldn't get the Seth low enough to balance out with the JD ... the rout is almost deep enough, but you have to ground the adjustment screws down enough to get the Seth low.
no reason why it couldn't work, but I went back to a regular tele neck pup
here's a pic of that project:

jeremy,
I think the rout on a US tele is OK, it's just that you have to ground down the adjustment screws.
I have an HB/ T pickguard if you need one.
