I played one a couple of days ago. It's in for a small repair at a local guitar shop. It's a very nice bass. Odd feeling, since I'm used to my fender/music man basses so much, but not bad at all!

They're neato basses. I was toying with the idea of getting one at one point in time, but they're not entirely my thing. They sound good though.

yeah, they're very cool...but with the two basses I have...I really don't have gas for any other basses so I don't even think about buying basses It would take a seriously amazing bass to make me want it

I used to have the model with one pickup that could be slid up or down! Very punchy sounding bass.

HEY! that was it! the one I played! the one with the pickup that moved up and down! that was freakin cool...

The Grabber had the movable pickup.

The Ripper had the 2 P-90-like pickups.

Good sounding basses, but I don't like the way they feel.

They can be really bright like early Green Day or really muddy like early KISS.

When it comes to Gibson basses. Besides the T-Bird, The only one I ever played that felt right and had some useable tones was their Victroy Bass.
