Ok, here is the status quo.
I have a 93 SG standard. Currently I have a 59 in the neck and a custom in the bridge. i want some phat cats, but want to keep the bridge sound, so, I recently picked up a phat cat bridge for cheap, here are my questions:
1. is it possible to put the bridge pup in the neck without it being out of phase?
2. Can I build a 59/custom hybrid with a custom bridge and a 59 neck? If so, is there anyone who knows who can do this in the Phoenix, Az area?
3. Will this even sound good? My end goal is to get the clarity of a single coil in the neck, with a little bite (thus the pc) with all out good crunck inthe bridge. I think the hybrid is just what I am looking for. help. please, I have gone mad.
