Whats the best NON LOCKING Strat tremolo, most toneful with best sustain and smooth tremolo!!!...Not super expensive, somewhere around 130 or less...

So I got this guitar given to me,it's a few years old,Japanese made and solid wood.
That's about all the good that I can say.

what do you guys recommend for a Gibby LP Standard..........(pups, caps, pots). For biting blues type playing and 80's type rhythm work.

What does adding a cover and waxing do to the tone..generally speaking? Thanks

Just got the latest Vintage Guitar mag and saw the ad for this new tone conrtol widgit that is supposed to give you much more control over your tone pots. Not so impressed with their sound samples. Anyone have any experience with these things?

Alrighty who it's been a while since I asked a question (and a serious one at that)

I have an old SG with a Duncan Distortion in the neck position. How would a JB do as a match in bridge position? I guess I want something other than another Distortion in the neck.
