o.k. i'm officially obsessed. on the alice in chains cd, facelift, on the song quot;sunshinequot; what all effects is cantrell using during the chorus of the song. to be exact the tone i'm lookin for starts exactly at 1 min 54 seconds into the track. gimme some answers guys. i know you got em.

I'm thinking of making my '04 Standard Telecaster into an Esquire with only a single Little 59 bridge pickup and a single volume knob. First i'd like to know if anyone has wired a guitar this way and how is it done? Second, would the stock Mexican volume pot hold up fine, or would a new aftermarket volume pot help my tone and/or output at all? Thanks!

I tossed up a a couple mics at Sundays rehearsal and got what I think is some cool stuff. I gotta say, Nate Pate, the other guitar player in the live group, is just about the funkiest player I have ever heard. Just listen to the chord grooves he is laying down. I went to high school with all the band members. Very cool, as all these guys play the shizzle out of their instruments.... These are live, and extremely spontaneous. Lot's of jamming, so they are a bit longer than the album versions I have. This is one hell of a fun project to be playing live!!! Finally have some gigs coming up, among them a battle of the bands. Hopefully instrumental rock will make a good showing.

Has anyone tried this and liked it.I've had it in the neck and it seemed muddy to me but huge.I wonder if it would beef up the bridge on my Strat?I've had a lil demon there for years and like it alot but could stand a little more bottom and presence.

i have a fender acoustic guitar, and the action is too high for my taste. actually, its only too high at the higher frets (about 9th fret and on), but down lower on the neck, its very low, which i like. so my thinking was that i should adjust the truss rod. the adjustment is at the base of the neck, inside the body. if this is the right way to fix the action, do i need to take the strings off to do it? which way should i adjust the neck? and if this isnt the way to fix this problem, what else can i do? and finally, should i just take this thing to a luthier?

It's an 8 track recorder with a hard drive that's a totally new animal to me. I bought it this past Saturday and I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out the order in which you're suppose to do things to record. I'm at work right now and I don't have the manual on me, but if someone has one and understands it could you PM me? Then could I write to you with my questions? I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

The Ashdown Peacemaker combos seem to be getting a good rightup... Ashdown are famous for bass amps and the Fallen Angel metal amps, but the peacemakers seem quite good spec - and look REALLY cool
