I just picked up the Epi Valve special. Its a Class A 5W tube run into a 10quot; speaker. Overall I'm impressed with the design and quality. its plenty loud at grungy levels.

wow this thing is sick... i want to sell alot of my **** to finance it, but i know it wont happen.

......does the amount of solder influence the way a pickup sounds? For example if you use much more solder than necessary does it affect the pickup in terms of treble frequencies or output????

Okay, It's summer and I plan on playing ALOT of guitar. I am working on a solid practice routine building on a whole bunch of things.

I was just wondering how good metro amps plexi superlead is? Does it sound like an original plexi? What are some other boutique amps that are exactly like a plexi cause Ive seen some that are like a plexi but they have more gain and have other quot;upgradesquot; and I just want something that gets as close to a plexi as possible. Can anyone help me?

hey guys, first post of mine.

Hi, I just bought the JB SH-4 for my strat. The guy at Guitar center said it was a good pup for the strat. I really like the sound but I noticed that it doesn't quite line up with the strings as good as the previous pup that I had in it did. It's not off by much though. I have a Mexican strat ( not sure the year) that I changed from s/s/s - h/s/s. Is this normal for this pup or no?
