I started a thread a couple of weeks ago, asking about the Schecter Exotic Pickups and what not, but my question now is, in your opinion, would the Schecter Super Rock II pick up at the bridge, and a SH-2N Jazz at the neck work well with eachother?.... i'm looking for good versatiliy out of them. i need y'alls opinion/help.

Yesterday I hit the closest Guitar Center as well as two Mom amp; pop stores to check out some new amps. My Criteria was simply, decent marshall type tone at low volume w/ a 12quot; speaker.Playing the Firebird through these.

just played a brazilian luthier made fender strat that had an EMG-H4 humbucker in the bridge.i know its passive but the sound rocked.
i´ve bin wanting to try something diferent for a long time in my strat rather than my jb humbucker.no complaints,just wanted a fuller sound.wanna try something diferent from wich ever brands you guys think would sound alike this emg model EMG-H4.

I'm looking for a good wireless system and most of the reviews I'm reading on musicians friend seem sketchy... I don't plan on spending more than 150 dollars so it seems the only brands available to me are nady, audio technica, and the cheapest AKG... it don't need to be playing in the next room of my house.. all I care about is a system which doesn't rob my guitar's tone or cut out and embarass me on stage.. ty for your suggestions

Are certain materials recomended for different types of guitars? I'm planning on sliding on my standard tuned strat and my G tuned acoustic, will I need more than one slide?

Hey. I'm planning on getting a lefty epi les paul custom. I'm planning on using it in drop D and C tuning. I play hard rock (big influences: a perfect circle, nin, tool, ministry, etc...). I'm reading that a higher string gauge would be better for me (I'm used to D'Adarrio 10's, the ones in the orange container). Any recommendations/tips? I plan on setting it up myself. I'm also reading that with a heavier gauge, the action could be a lot higher. Any tips on setting it all up, taking all of this into consideration?

Also, how cost effective would it be it change the bridge pup to a Humbucker? Would it cost much?
