I just recently placed a 59'B in my les paul. And was curious which is better to have, single conductor wiring or four conductor wiring? Does either one give a different sound?

What keywords do I use? Thanks

I finally after about 2 years of changeover have my PRS clone finished. I started a couple years ago on the hardware, then late last week finished it off with some new gold covered pups.

I grabbed on elast week and it has some real cool tones for such a small amp. Anyone else own one?

Well the quot;Twistedcasterquot; tele is almost done...the inlays are done and it looks KILLER IMO...now i just need some locking tuners and she'll be 100% done...here are the pics of that...

I am looking to change my speakers out in my amp. I currently am using a 2x12 randall with celestion seventy 80s that came stock in it. Has anyone here ever used the celestion vintage 30s? I am looking at a set of them or maybe some of the new eminence redcoats or patriot series. Does changing the speakers make much of a difference with your overall sound? I used to thinks that pickups were pickups and was wrong about that so any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

Have a pair of STKT1n and STKT3b AND a Noiseless Strat pickup installed on a Tele with a Superswitch. Switched set up to elumate Nashville Tele (1, 1/2, 1/3, 2/3, 3) SM's wired for humbucking (Ramp;W together) and it all worked fine. Changed a noisy tone POT, thought I put all the wiring back correctly, but now the STK1 has a very thin sound unless I connect the W, which eliminates the HB'ing. Have tried EVERY other conceivable connection. I removed the Superswitch, made sure of my connections, and still cannot get the old sound back. And yes, I reversed the green/black neg/pos to eliminate an out of phase state.
