I have an older Traynor amp that is very much like a Deluxe Reverb with EL-84's. I'm looking for the best 12quot; speaker out there for it.

I am jonesing for an american made Jackson so I must sell a couple of my toys. This guitar is a 2004 Mahogany body and set neck, rosewood fret board, maple cap all in quilted brilliant blue. The bridge PU is a JB and there is a Jazz in the neck. This guitar is less than a year old and is perfect. Schaller strap locks included. I will also throw in a hard case to protect this beauty. I've picked up a used '59 pickup that someone has enlarged the screw holes and made it none too useful. I need another vintage style humbucker base plate from SD (1 15/16quot; pole space) that I can use to place rebuild the pickup onto from this damage one I've got now.
So if you've got a dead vintage pickup ('59, Pro II, PG or Seth Lover) that you might be throwing out....don't. I'll pay the shipping through USPS to get it and try this little project.

My new Lew Paul arrived yesterday while I was out of town. Got my hands on it this afternoon. This is the first Les Paul I've owned, although I've played many. I've always loved Les Pauls, but have been a harsh critic of Gibson's quality in recent years. I had even decided about 8 months ago that I was going to have a Heritage custom built because of Gibson's quality issues.

In the last minute of Steve Vai's quot;Tender Surrenderquot;, he's doing something unusual with the wah. It seems more pronounced, and steadily increases going into the last seconds of the song. The notes almost sound like they're begging for mercy.

Hello everyone new guy here. Looks like I've come to the right place! I have a project Gibson Sg Melody Maker I'm putting together. Mahogany, routed for single coils. I'm looking to make it different sounding than my Sg standard and Sg junior. I'm pretty much sold on putting a JB junior in the bridge but I'm looking to get more bite and glassines from the neck position than your usuall sg neck pickup. Any recommendations? I was thinking maybe a Duckbucker. Also should I put 500k pots in like Gibsons usually have in them? I'm pretty much starting from scratch.

hey guys, i just saw the main home page of the SD site. i never knew Christopher Amott uses the demon now... wow, he gets some brutal tone out of that thing. which reminds me, i once saw an input about Dark Tranquillity on the front page about using Duncan pups... does anyone remembers which models they were and which of the two guitarists uses the specific models?

I can't stop listening to this CD. Amazing. This truly is the blueprint for hard rock guitar. Is Beck using a Strat through Marshall's? You know, he doesn't get the acclaim that Messrs. Page and Clapton receive, which I guess is due to the haphazard direction he let his career go in, but damn, the man can play guitar!

I'm currently playing through a THD Uni-Valve head through a THD 2x12 cab.A close friend recommended adding a tube pre-amp to help me to achieve heavier 'chugging' tones for some added push for my tone.Through my search online,my curiosity has been peaked by the Mesa Boogie V-Twin pedal.I'd prefer to shy away from rack mount preamps just for the ease of gig setup.Any info on the V-Twin is much appreciated.
