59 Trembucker Bridge pickup F/S
I`ve got a 59 Trembucker bridge pup for sale. It`s Black on the screw bobbin and White on the slug bobbin. I removed the logo also but the TB59 sticker is still on the bottom. The pickup is like new , it was only in my guitar for a short while. I`m asking $50 $3.85 for USPS priority shipping . Shoot me a PM if interested.

Need a Tele bridge template.
I didn't think this would be that hard to find, but a Google search has turned up nothing. Basically, I'm trying to make an adaptor so that I can mount a Tele bridge pup in a humbucker equipped Tele.

Invader/Charvel
So I decided to hell with keeping the Model 6 all stock. I took out the Jackson J-50BC (cool pickup with the active mid-boost, hella-lame without it), and dropped my Invader in. The 5 second quot;make sure it worksquot; test turned into a 20 minute riff-fest! The Invader with the mid-boost is hellacious! Pure molten power! Sustain out the arse, and the easiest pick sqeals ever. I've been on a huge Godflesh/Jesu kick lately, and this is great for it. It's tuned down to B at the moment, and couldn't be sounding more sinister

MXR Compressor
Has anybody tried the quot;newquot; Super-comp pedal from MXR. The Dyna-comp is great but this has a attack control if i remember right?

Tone Shaping on Amps
I got a quick question. Today, my friend brought over his JCM 800 head (with horizontal inputs) and we played it with my cabinet and guitars. I'm not sure what kind of tubes he had in there, but with his amp, we got a nice tone with the treble on about 6 and the mids at about 5. With my amp though, to get around the same tone, the mids were at 3.5 and the treble at 2. Is it normal for there to be such a difference in the settings on amps that are pretty much the same?

Look What Brown Did For Me: RR-1 PIC HEAVY
Got this gorgeous one today. I'm going to hold off on a full review until I get the D-Tuna removed, new strings put on, fretboard cleaned, and Floyd set-up. Until then, let's just say that this is THE BEST sounding and playing guitar I have ever set hands upon. Oh and don't worry, I do have the rear cover. Enjoy:
Nice nice axe man. How does it play?

what is quot;true bypass?quot;
When people say, quot;this OD box is true bypassquot;, or quot;this wah is true bypassquot; what are they talking about?

Extension Cabinets
I want to put a 2*12 (can't find the times sign on my keyboard) cab under my amp. It's a 3*10 and could do with a bit more power and omph! IMO. My only concern however is entirely superficial and cosmetic. Any 2*12 cab is wider than my amp and I think it looks a bit silly, like an upside-down T. I was thinking if I build it myself I could put one speaker above the other and build the cab to the same width as my amp. Will this make any tonal differences to the traditional 'next-to' design of most cabs?

New (MUCH BETTER) Tweak Fuzz Clip!
Hey dudes. I posted some kinda crappy quality Tweak Fuzz clips before. I was using dynamic mics before, and I am hating the sound of those. All the guitar tracks in this clip were recorded in my garage with an M-Audio Luna Condensor Microphone. The amp was REALLY quiet on these clips, which makes it even cooler that these tones came out.

Having trouble keeping my LP in tune.
My Les Paul is probably my favorite guitar to play but it seems to give me the most trouble with staying in tune. I restring and wrap the strings on my guitars the same way at the tuning pegs, and I stretch out the strings the same way too. But for some reason it seems like the G and B strings keep fighting me. They not only go flat on me but sharp as well within minutes of playing sometimes. I use a .010/.052 set and top wrap them around the tail piece. I also trust the tech that I take it to, seeing how he's a Les Paul fiend (has 14 of them) and I've never had a problem with my other guitars that he's set up for me. The frets are in good shape and the intonation is right on. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thank you.

Guitar polish
I've been using the same inexpensive guitar polish for ages. I think it's made by Martin, but I've used it so long I haven't read the label in years.

Can Anyone Do Basic Electrical Work?
I'm willing to pay someone to make this simple circut for me since I'm not sure if I can do it or not. I'm in a woodshop class and want to make a small portable amp that runs on 9volt and has a little speaker in it. I found this schematicand this article on how to do it I'm just not clear on some things.

swapping out pickups
I bought some '57 classic humbuckers off of e-bay for my Epi Sheraton II, and suddenly reality has reared it's ugly head. I've never done this sort of thing before. I started to remove the old pickups and got as far as the wire cutting point and stopped there. I have one wire coming out of each pickup - blue for the bridge, red for the neck. The blue wire runs into a black and white wire about ten inches from the pickup. The red appears to run on down to the volume and or tone control for the neck (this is a semi-hollow body so it's kinda tough seeing much beyond that). So, I'm thinking: detach the bridge pickup at the junction with the white and black wires, track down the red wire for the neck pickup and detach/desolder. Sounds simple enough, however, if anyone could screw this up, it would be me. Any and all suggestions are welcome and would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I recognize the question is a bit moronic, but what the hell, ya gotta start somewhere.
