Having trouble keeping my LP in tune.
My Les Paul is probably my favorite guitar to play but it seems to give me the most trouble with staying in tune. I restring and wrap the strings on my guitars the same way at the tuning pegs, and I stretch out the strings the same way too. But for some reason it seems like the G and B strings keep fighting me. They not only go flat on me but sharp as well within minutes of playing sometimes. I use a .010/.052 set and top wrap them around the tail piece. I also trust the tech that I take it to, seeing how he's a Les Paul fiend (has 14 of them) and I've never had a problem with my other guitars that he's set up for me. The frets are in good shape and the intonation is right on. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thank you.

digitech gsp7 rack processor/preamp
o.k. guys heres the holy grail to my sound. this is one of the hard to find gsp7 processors and features 128 pre-sets, which you can do just about anything you want to with. i think this thing has every effect imaginable on it, way too many to try and list here. it features an input jack on the front and back for whichever side you might want to use, headphone out, left and right outputs, dual footswitch inputs labeled a and b, and midi in and out jacks. i played one of these years ago and couldnt afford it new, (seems like they wanted about $400 for it) and finally ran up on this one.; i hardly ever see one on ebay and when i have they usually bring around $200 and up. i am gonna ask $175 on it, but i'm negotiable. i will also consider trades. buyer pays $5.00 shipping in the con. u.s. via priority mail. also i dont have the original manual, but i'm pretty sure i can print one off the net and include with it.does it come with the bong as well. haha

Love those Seth Lovers
I just had a set of Seth Lovers (7.4 K neck, 8.0 K bridge) installed in my Gibson ES-137 Classic. I have been slowly upgrading this guitar since my wife gave it to me for my birthday in 2003 -- added a bone nut, and had it set up with .011s using a Junior wrap around the tail piece. I kept the stock 490R/498T pickup set for almost 2 years, and was able to get some decent tones from them, but these Seths are in a different class. Although it's a bit cliche, they really sound like a you took a blanket off the amp. They are very warm and smooth, as advertised, but also very clear, sweet, and textured. None of the muddiness on the low strings like the stock pickups tended toward, and none of the harshness in the mids and highs like the 498T tended to slip into. The Seth neck and bridge pickups balance very nicely in terms of output, and they blend together beautifully.

Tips on refinishing an acoustic
First, the story. My backdoor neighbour came knocking at my door today. It was, once again, because part of my land is falling on his (he's 8 foot lower) and this has became sort of a friendly war between us each year because I don't have the money to have the wall rebuilt and he knows it.

That Instrument
Within the past months or so, I've been hellbent on making my RR3 perfect with new pickups. But it seems my mood has changed, and now its my Stratocaster resting against my amp. I can't put her down, shes playing very beautifully.

pole peices???
I know that you guys have swapped out magnets.... but what about pole peices?
They do all make different sounds, right? Look at the Full-Shred, the Invader, Screamin Demon, Dimarzio models and so forth. Has anyone ever tried swapping these out and if so did they hear a difference???

New Nut
I want to put a new nut on one of my Yamaha electric guitars. It's a cheap guitar but I like it. And I messed up the nut by overfiling it. I know about repairs with bone and epoxy, but I'm thinking to just put a new nut on it.

So I called Rivera Amps......
due to the fact that when I'm on the quot;Americanquot; channel of my Chubster 40, the volume actually starts to decrease once the pre gets up to '6' (with the master on 10). I'm using this approach in an attempt to sustain the clean as much as possible since this channel just can't keep up in a gig scenario.

XSSIVE USA Schecter theodie Duncan =
well, the quot;odiecasterquot; is done. it's made up of fender replacement neck i had odie do TONS of work on (see other thread for more info...thanks Dave!!) the body is an alder NOS Schecter USA strat body with THE BEST heel design on a strat ever (see pic, it just rocks)!! the guard is warmoth as usual, pickups (for now) are a JB bridge and new style hot rail neck...i like the JB so far but i may switch it out for something with a bit more low end in the future, not sure yet. graphite nut, graphite saddles, schaller mini locking tuners, black hardware (obviously lol), 500K CTS pots, orange drop cap, switchcraft jack and switch yadda yadda yadda. this thing plays amazing with the oil finished neck and monster size (6100ish) frets and 12quot; radius oh and before anyone asks. it says quot;schecterquot; on the headstock (to go with the origin of the body) in the vintage style USA font they used on their quot;strat headsquot; at the time.
(it pays to make your own decals lol).

F/S 1996 Fender Lone Star Strat
This is all original with the Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge and Texas Specials in the middle and neck positions. It is a 50th Anniversary (of Fender not of the Stratocaster) and has a gold Fender 50th anniversary emblem on the back of the head stock (1946-1996). This guitar is in excellent condition (less the missing volume knob which I lost). It comes with the original case which is just starting to see some wear on it. I am looking for $600 shipped for this. Thanks!
