lHello,
I have searched and found previous info on this problem of text being
truncated in the vertical title bar in a chart. I tried resetting the screen
resolution to 4:3, but it still doesnt work, plus the resolution on my laptop
at that level is blurry!
any other work around?? i didnt quite follow the adding of ALT 0160, could
you explain?
thanks in advance,
clayton
Clayton,
I'm afraid I can't help you. I can just confirm that selecting a 4:3
resolution does not solve the problems for me either. In fact the problems
are much than that. Just try copying a graph in Excel and then paste it into
Excel or Powerpoint; the whole chart (fonts and everything) gets distorted,
rendering it useless for reports and presentations. The only effective
workaround is to first print the chart to a PDF file and then copy and paste
it into Word. So much for seamless integration of Office applications. I'm
intrigued though: my problems started out-of-the-blue about 6-8 weeks ago
(possibly after running a recent Office upgrade?). Before then everything has
been running fine for more than a year.
Hope we get some more responses, JJMB
