Hello -

I'm pretty new at this.
I need to email an excel file. I have used VLOOKUP (which references another
file not in the same workbook). If I send this file:

a) will they see what VLOOKUP pulled in? without sending the reference file?
b) if not, how can I quot;freezequot; the file I send so it does show the referenced
data, but not the entire reference file?

If I ask the recepient NOT to update links. Then they would get the info -
correct? If they select quot;Update Linksquot; excel will go off on a wild goose
chase looking for the file that they do not have - correct?

you are circulating. This would break the vlkooup link but keep the values
you have already pulled in.
