I am trying to create a spreadsheet with a basic combo box, but can't figure
out how to add values to the combo box. Can anyone help??
Step by Step instructions if possible please
Open Excel Help, ignore the search function and go straight to the table of
contents
Select 'Working with Data'
Select 'Validating Cell Entries'
Select 'Create a drop-down list..........'

Forms tool bar click on combo box
once you click on the combo box, go anywhere in your sheet, press the
right button and draw in your combo box, you can size it and place it
any where you choose.
lets place this example in A1 ,
for this exampl in H1 make a list
a
b
c
d
e
right click on your combo box and select format control
input range, click on the square box that takes you to the worksheet
and highlite H1:H6
in the cell link click on the square thing angain and select cell G1
put this formula in B1
=INDEX(H1:H5,G1)
now what ever you select in the combo box will show up in B1
are you sure you want a combo box, how about a dropdown menu
goto A1
goto Data=gt;validation=gt;in settings select list
hit that square thing and highlite on your sheet the range that has
your list.
hit enter a couple of times, now A1 has a dropdown menu--
