*Alt,E,S,V then Enter*.

try customizing a commandbar, adding a commandbutton for 'paste values'
-gt; tools / customize / [commands tab]
-gt; under categories / edit
-gt; find/copy/drag/... -gt; paste vaues [button]
below paste formats [button]

BTW, if you shift-click each of these buttons, performs the actions of each-other
