Ok, for a while now i have had a thing for the Schecter C-1 Blackjack..I have worked out a deal with guitar Center to give the guitar and molded case for $610. But now I'm wondering about these Faded V's that I have seen. Does anyone have an opinion about which guitar I should look into? Thanks

Well I have two humbuckers in my guitar right now and I am looking to replace them with 2 humbuckers only I would like to go with a real vintage sound. Also I am putting a single coil tele pickup in the center to. which should also have a vintage sound what do you guys recomend??

A couple of you guys may remember me posting about a bad cap earlier, and im starting to get some motivation to fix it myself sence the shop here is 6-8 weeks behind (terrible). I cracked open the chassis a few days ago and noticed there are about 5 small caps rated at 15uF 450v in various places on the PCB, but no others. However, there is a 3quot; long 50uF 500v cap hanging outside of the chassis behind the power tubes. Is this it? Im not positive since there is only one, and ive heard most amps have more. Has anyone tried Alnico II in the JB? How did it sound, in comparison to the JB? Looking to put it in a strat-style possibly and counteract a little bit of the brightness.
