Does the SH-TB1 look the same as the PA-Tb1?
Cause I've bought a pickup that looks like an Original Parallel Axis Trembucker, but the box says SH-TB1. Maybe it's not the original box?

This has probably been done before (tried the search function but didn't come up with anything)...

Hey guys. I really need to get into some Jazz. Can you guys give me some of the bigger names in jazz (guitar)? I know of John Scofield and Joe Pess, but that's it. I just need the Satriani's, Vai's and Hendrix's of Jazz Guitar, to get myself rooted, and then I'll get into it some more.

Hi, I'm new. I have a really old MXR Distortion that seems to have a bad pot or two. The switch is really dirty and the jacks are old and dirty too (almost 30 years old). I was looking at and found that I'd probably use dunlop jacks and the switch that looks right. But I don't know the value of the pots on effects pedals like the distortion plus. If someone could let me know that'd be great. Also if there's anything else I need to know about jacks or anything I welcome your help. If you don't think I should solder it myself then tell me that too and let me know who I can get to do it. Thanks you guys.

My eight year old niece wanted me to teach her to play guitar. I got a real cheap 3/4 classical guitar for her and this afternoon I tried to give her a lesson.

As part of the face lift I'm giving my Warmoth, I was going to sink the screws. I bought some nice 5/8quot; washers from stewmac and a 5/8quot; drill bit thinking I'd just sink the washers right in (the washers are thick enough to hide the screw head). Everything just arrived, and it turns out I don't quite have enough space between the neck hole and the side of the neck for everything to fit, so I guess I'm going to be repositioning the screw holes by about an eight of an inch. Can someone walk me through filling the old holes? What would I use? Will this end up being strong enough structuraly if the new holes slightly overlap the old ones?

Hi all, I have a Jackson equipped currently with two classic stacks and a JB. I originally thought that the stacks weren't doing it, but I'm thinking that maybe it's the JB that has got to go. I'd like to delve into the realm of lower output pups and I'm looking for a replacement hum for the bridge.

Hi guys.. I posted the other day and told you that I was in the process of getting a used Ibanez RG450, but I think I made a mistake, or actually the seller made a mistake and it's a RG 550 as I looked all over the web and even at a couple Ibanez web sites and couldn't find any mention of a RG model 450.. but found a ton of 550 stuff.. This one seems to be made in 1998, and I thought it had the cheap TRS trem, but it seems maybe it's an edge or low pro edge.. Can anyone tell me the difference? See the pic at from : localhost/209.200.112.112.temp/i.jpg ) It's not a great pic, but you can see it there at least.. What's the difference and does it matter as far as quality? I take it the low pro is just a lowered version so you don't hit it with your hand? I ask all this as I had a 470 RG I think it was, and the trem wasn't that good so I blocked it, and stuck new pups in it, and it sounded great.. I loved the neck on it too and it's the same as this one, except this one is even better as it's maple! I'm thinkning about getting a new reverse headstock maple neck made at USA Custom guitars.. They said they might be able to do it.. It would be different in radious and thickness as well as having some carbon rods inserted like Carvin's which helps greatly with sustain.. I'm convinced that it does anyway.. I'm also going to direct mount the pickups in this guitar.. So I'll have a killer blues / rock machine when I'm finished I hope!

Is someone ever gonna tell this assweed that there are NO SCALLOPS on this thing? And I've never heard of a company called quot;G-ibsonquot;
