A friendly dealer here in town let me test drive a JD Tele bridge pickup with my MIM Tele. I have been using an Antiquity. The JD works better for me. The Antiquity has an output of about 6.5 kohm versus the JD's 8.2 or so. The JD has more output, a bit more twang, its punchier, and works great with a fuzz or treble booster through the Bogner Metropolis. Being an A2 design, its not icepicky. I'm going to go ahead and trade the Antiquity for the JD.

Ok i just got a JB for the bridge of my Agile 2800, took the back plate off and as confused as I can be, I have done several strats with no worries but well this thing has be cornfused...

I had my first ebay guitar for a week and here's the story on what happened. It might help anybody who's looking to buy a guitar off ebay for the first time.

I have chosen to upgrade the bridge pickup in my RG with a distortion. My RG has a floyd trem, so I'm thinking I need the trembuker version of the DD, but from the spec's it looks like a different pickup than the normal spaced DD. What difference can I expect from the floyd spaced DD? Any input will be a great help.

My tastes have gone High-Gain lately, and my AVT150's distortion isn't cutting it anymore.

Well, I decided to mess around with my sg today since it's played like crap since the tech had it. I raised the action a bit, adjusted the pickup height and lo and behold it plays better than ever! To celebrate I decided to finish the song that led to its downfall(when I tried using heavier strings).

I don't know who feels more like a kid at Xmas...
