Well, I decided to mess around with my sg today since it's played like crap since the tech had it. I raised the action a bit, adjusted the pickup height and lo and behold it plays better than ever! To celebrate I decided to finish the song that led to its downfall(when I tried using heavier strings).

Drums are a little quirky since I was experimenting with compression, and well, because they're a drum machine. And it might be a little sloppy in areas due to the quad layer, but otherwise I'd say it turned out ok. These are emgs by the way wfd.
umm... comments would be nice. I know I'm not jolly or anything but some of these riffs were freakin hard.
Hey man good riffage. The only thing is that the lead guitar thing is completely lost in the mix in some places.
I was trying to avoid clipping. Meh, I gave it a 3db boost on all leads anyway, it doesn't noticeably clip too badly. link is the same. Oh, and here's the version with vocals- which IMO isn't as good since I kind of just made up lyrics haphazardly and such.

Let me know about any other production errors.
Jam out man. I agree, that sounded like some hard stuff to play. I thought it sounded good. My only comment would be to lower the drum volume a tad. I personally felt the man rhythm was buried beneath the drums. I think the levels between the guitars is fine, just the drums are covering up the rhythm. Other than that...sounded good.
haha, thanks Jolly! I'll try bumping down the drums a bit when I get home. You're right- they do make the mix a bit muddy in spots.
You should have called the last song quot;Death By Cheddarquot;..... lol :P
Nice playing btw .
Got a kinda chuggy High on Fire vibe, I like it!
