Hello, I've been looking at a 4X12 cab with a mix of v30's in top and hot 100's in the bottom, which is said to give the sound massive bottom end.

I plugged into my dad's Yorkville 400w PA speaker with my bandmaster and the walls were shaking with the volume at 4. It's your standard tightly closed PA speaker with that horn thing on top and carpet covering.

I like the 57 classics in my LP, but I am considering something with a slightly more modern tone. I might try the Alnico II pros, or maybe Pearly gates, what other pickups would you recommend...nothing too hot though. I have my ESPs and Jacksons with EMGs for that.

OK...throw it out there...Best Marshall head ever...since there are so many I won't make a poll....Lets keep these stock...no modded stuff and no boutiques (that clause is for for you and your Bogner GJ )

hi guys, i have a seymour duncan sh-5 custom in the bridge position of my guitar right now and although i love the lead tones ofthis pickup i am not too pleased with the palm muted qualities. i was wondering if i mgith be better off choosing a JB or an duncan distortion. what do you think? i play heavy music, mostly scandinavian metal like ensiferum, children of bodom, throne of chaos, dimmu borgir (early stuff), also i really love the tone that sepultura get on their beneath the remains and arise albums. My fave band are megadeth and i know mustaine uses a JB but i was wondering whether my cheap setup of a peavey bandit and a mt2 metal zone pedal would be able to get even close to that tones megadeth get. thanks for any help

Hey all, I just wanted to give some kudos to Ibanez on the RGA 121. I walked into the local store with the intension of buying a Jackson slsmg which I had read about but had not played yet. Well, hanging next to it was an RGA121 with the natural maple finish, so I told the guy to get them both down. I wasn't sure what to expect from either one but I thought I had a good idea. This assumption was based on the fact that I have guitars at home from both companies. A USA SL-1 and a Japanese RG431, everything everyone has said about the playability of the USA Jacksons is correct...once you play one your'e spoiled. Having said that I also appreciated the feel of the Wizard II neck on my Ibanez but it never felt quite substantial enough or nearly as fast as the Jackson.

I notice that some models have the quot;quot; logo on them. Particulary, the Sh-2 Jazz PuPs.
