Hey guys, im looking to buy a nice stratocaster neck. I do not care if it is maple or rosewood but i prefer a higher end variety(Warmoth, USCG, or American Fender). I also am looking for a radius of either 12quot; or 9.5quot; but a warmoth compound will do. I have availiable for a possible trade a finished warmoth neck. It is a 15quot; radius and has little fretware. The neck does have some drill holes as I replaced the standard style tuners for some sperzels, but the sperzel holes are easily covered by a standard set of inlines. I will ship with sperzels of a pair of standars offbrand tuners if you desire. Also the neck comes complete with an installed earvana nut.The board is rosewood and is extremely dark. The neck was previously owned by Jeff_H. Im looking for something a little less shredder/modern for my guitar. I will consider any offer for trade or purchase outright.
Please email any pictures or ofers to me at bvc310@fuse.net as i check that muych more often than I do here.

an update on my picking technique change
Not that anyone cares though. A while back I posted about economy vs. alternate picking. I tried economy picking for a while but then went back to alternate. Here in the past month though after kind of hitting a brick wall in my playing I really gave another shot at economy picking. All I can say is that I'm glad I stuck with it. Economy picking has opened up my playing 10 fold of what it used to be. Patterns that I could never quite get before come with ease. At times I still feel retarted trying to economy pick but its definately getting better everyday. My picking hand feels much less tired after long hours of playing mostly because you don't waste any motion this way. You let your hand flow instead of actually having to try. Also economy picking led me to quot;inside pickingquot;. This is great technique to use when going between two strings. That is all!

JB Jr. vs. L'il 59 for STRAT bridge?!
Hey - i'm getting a strat soon and debating in my head whether it's a good idea to go with a JB jr or a lil 59 in the bridge position . Based on my axe specs the Tone Wizard told me to go with a JBjr. Although i took a peak at the tone chart and saw it has a lot of high frequencies but more output. To go for a classic to hard rock sound which do u think is a better choice? I'm sure all you experienced axe-slingers can give some good tips. Thanks.

Do these have the SD Logo silkscreened on them?
ThanksMind you, I have no first hand experience with the Hot Rodded 'bucker set, but every JB and Jazz that I've seen that's sold individualy has the logo, so I assume that's the case with the ones sold as a set.

Battle of the Les Paul copies (and a real one)
Today I hit a couple of shops lookin @ Les Pauls, and Les Paul copies. I sent my LP Deluxe back..Loved the way it played and the sound was phenomenal, but the QC issues bugged me for a $1500 guitar. So I set out looking for LP quot;tonequot; on a budget.

How to replace strat am deluxe hss humbucker with seymour single coil...
Hi there!
I have a American deluxe HSS strat with pot switch, and just got myself a duncan performer quot;great white snarksquot; single coil pickup with which I would like to replace the original built in fender humbucker. Could find neither this particular duncan pick up nor the correct wiring scheme on the homepage.

Pup prob.
It's been a long time since I posted on SD forums. Anyway I recently took out my bridge position Hot Rail and put in a JB full-size humbucker. Now that I've put that pickup in my Neck position Hot Rail and middle pickup do not work, the sound I get from them is at a very very low volume even with my amp cranked. Also the JB hums really really bad. I made all of my connections to the same places that the old Hot Rail were connected too. If anybody knows where I went wrong please help me out!!
