Jazz amp; JB combo feedback needed
Finally I committed and bought a Jazz/neck and JB/bridge for my HH Strat. I have to wait a week before they're installed though. I'll be counting the hours. Any feedback would be great...

Pickup problem or amp problem?
I'm looking for an excuse to begin pickup swapping, which will surely be a mess of buying and re-buying, after having the same pups for nearly 20 years...

Quick pot question
Hey guys, what's the marking on the back of audio (log) taper pots? is it A or B? Like a 500k audio taper pot would have A500k or B500k?

Noise Gates and Noise Suppressors
So I figured out the difference between the two by reading the manual for the Rocktron HUSH Super C. I may be incorrect in how I say this, but here are the differences.

Carvin V3
Anybody have experience with one? $899 for an all-tube, three channel head that can be British (EL34) or American (6L6 or 5881)? That sounds like a GREAT deal, and it's made in America too! I just watched the demo video and listened to the clips, and it sounds pretty good. I'm hopefully about to start a new job, so maybe I can get myself a little xmas gift.

FS or FT: Nice Heritage H-170CM Double Cutaway Les Paul
i have a H-170CM double cutaway from the folks at Heritage Guitars. This Michigan USA-made guitar features a double cutaway solid mahogany body capped with a beautifully flamed and carved maple top, which has an 'antique sunburst' finish. It has two humbucking pickups with two volume knobs, one master tone knob and a 3-way selector switch. The guitar is in great shape with only a small amount of finish wear (belt buckle scratches and a little finish wear on the neck), very little fret wear and no significant dings or scratches. The serial number is NO1306, which dates the guitar to 1997. The original hardshell case is included.

How To Fill Excess Strat Routing?
My JV strat is routed for a HB bridge pickup. Is it possible to fill in the excess routing to beef up the bridge tone? I've heard about the Fralin bassplate that will add beef to a pup and that's an option I am considering. I have considered dropping a Custom Custom in the bridge, but I think my next move will be to put in a Texas Hot Custom Bridge pickup to go with the Texas Hot neck which I presently have and love. I think I want to stay with the SSS configuration.
