i just got done shooting some pics of yet another one of Cris Mirabella's amazing hand built guitars and i thought you guys would like to see it.

Now if this doesn't blow you away you need to reevaluate your taste

it speaks for itself.

It is a little much for my taste but it is breath taking. How does it sound...hopefully as good as it looks!

Oh sweet Jesus... Any idea if he can make 7 strings? I would KILL for that with a blank ebony fretboard and 7 strings.

You know X, I've liked every other guitar you've posted except this one. I also liked those other Mirabella's you showed us...but this? Gah, too much!

(congrats on the Edwards LP-copy by the way, it look stunning!)

too much for me

Stunning guitar, but the inlays are a little over the top for my liking. If you put inlays akin to those on the Schecter Hellraiser series, I would dig it a lot more. Those pickup covers are keen though. I love the top/color on it as well.

WOW, I'm lost for words. I'v been to Cris's shop, But Never got to meet him. I'm blown away by the basic design. Granted the inlay work and Maple bound neck and all the other Fancy appointments make the Guitar a true work of Art. I'd be more than happy with a barebones version. I love the headstock. It has a hint of Firebird to it, But still very much it's own. The string thru adds a lot of class to it. It's like a Art Deco Jazz box fused to a modern Guitar in the most tatseful way. Even tho there is no radical design change You can't really say it's a PRS knockoff or a Strat knockoff. It has it's own thing going on within those parameters. A true work of art from basic design to the high end Craftsmanship.

Holy freakin crap. I'd never play it, but it sure is pretty.

amazing! Did he do all the inlay work or does someone else do it?

Man that is nice! Real artists at work there! On a side note i'm glad Stew Mac is now selling those top stringthru Ferrels for setups like this bridge

sweet...but im with dss3...no inlays, plain black ebony f/b
chris

TGWIF: yeah it's wild but that is what the buyer wanted. as for player, it is the owners #1 recording guitar. it sounds AMAZING!

DSS: i'm sure he could do a 7 with no problem at all.

Closed eye: well, that's what the buyer wanted so that's what was built.

dd12939: the inlays are in a whole other league on this guitar the ugly junk they put on that schecter can in no way be compaired to this. granted it may be too crazy for some but again, that's what the buyer wanted.

kmc: you need to meet Cris, he is one of the nicest guys i know. plus the guy knows guitars better than anyone!

X: this guitar is 110% a player and a looker.

Ez: he did all the inlays on it.

SOLO: that was my idea for if i ever got one built by him in this style (a blank ebony board) but i decided to have him build me something else instead for now. down the road i'll have him build me one of these for sure after now playing it for a few days!

i ain't skeered of it...i'd play it...lol...i'm too stupid to be skeered!

j/k.......i could stare at that dragon inlay for days man...nice work...no doubt about it!!!!!!

Stunning work. Definitely the kind of guitar you be hesitant about playing. That is some amazing inlay work, too. I'm not sure I would have that kind of inlay work done for one of my axes, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate how beautiful that guitar is.

I don't think the inlay work is too much. So long as it stays on the fretboard it's ok. Now the PRS Dragon with all the inlay work on the body... I can appreciate the craft it took to so that, but knock it for being guady. This Mirabella has extensive inlay work, but is still very classy.

Overall, I love it. It has attitude. I would be afraid to bring it to gigs, tho.

looks nice, but to fancy for me...

Nice show piece, but does nothing for me as a player

Oh yeah, it's nothing personal against the buyer or builder! I appreciate both the craftsmanship of the builder and aesthetic eye of the buyer but it's still a tad quot;too muchquot; for me. I'm almost certain the guitar plays and sounds magnificent though.

...whenever Mireabella makes a new guitar, you should still post pics of it!
