That is nice! I've been looking thru their site i lot these days looking for a bod yan d a neck that jumps out at me and says BUY..... Saddly i'm looking for something that will take a Floyd Original... But i love this LP!

Has anyone ever played one of these bolt ons? How do they compare in tone to the real set neck? Obviously the wood quality isn't an issue here! I penciled it out and I could get into one of these for around $1000 to 1100.

Too bad you can only do bolt on.

That double cut body is beautiful, but look at the neck pocket. More specifically the lack of one... In general, I don't believe that a glued-in neck is necessarily better than a bolt-on, but with no sides at all on the neck pocket I've got to believe that there would be a loss of tone and/or sustain.

Haven't tried it, just MHO, but I thought about it long and hard before going in another direction.

The first one needs a set of antiquities. I saw the body the other day while I was perusing... FS, I feel the same way about that DC.

Whofan, I think we are on the same wavelength. When I find the right body/neck for the right price it will call to me. Original Floyd equipped. I'm still debating recessed/floating or dive only.

I dig the double cut, but I find the single cut ugly with the burst finish.
