Hey guys,
I believe it was Jeremy, ages ago, who told me how to wire a Tele neck pickup in, to bypass the tone and go directly to the volume. Can anyone describe how to do this simply? I was asked by Flank how to do it, I do not have a digi cam until Xmas, and my typing skills for precise instructions is not nec the best. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!

If its a standard Tele 3-way, just disconnect the tone control from where ever it is now, and connect it direct to the bridge pup hot wire. It will still be connected when both pups are on, but there's no way around that.

You'd have to rewire your switch sort of like a Strat switch so that one side selects the pickups and other side connects the pickups to the tone control. Like a Strat is usually wired. You'd have to disconnect your tone control from the volume control and then connect the tone control to the output of the side of the switch that is not selecting the pickups. The switch is actually two switches...one on each side. Take a good look at the wiring of a Strat's switch...you should be able to see what needs to be done. Lew

Brilliant! Much easier than the way I thought of.
