Haven't been here in ages...

This isn't exactly officially up for trade yet but I need some counsel from guitar guru's or something.

A friend of mine has offered me a lightly scuffed Blue Gibson SG. He says he replaced both pickups with Angus Young Signature Series. The pots all have quot;SDquot; on them so I'm assuming he had all the electronics gutted and replaced with seymour duncan stuff.

In Return he wants my Yamaha EMX 660 Powered Mixer.I am already happy with my customized flying-V so I'm not really interested in keeping the guitar, but I was thinking that if I re-traded, maybe I could exchange this SG for some other type of gear (If indeed it is more tradeable than my powered mixer).

And, I know I might sound like a total idiot. But when I check on e-bay, some of these go for say..$200 US whilest others go for $3000. How in the world would I know where this one is valued?
And if anyone is already interested in this guitar, Let me know what you got...pedals, processors, preamps, poweramps, whatever. kjt777@excite.com

The guitar is not Gibson it's De Armond

It had a Gibson Logo on it but I guess that was just added for looks ???

It DOES have the Angus Young pickups...

...But the pots have quot;Dquot; on them (not quot;SDquot;) So i'm just assuming it's stock electronics (D for De Armond I'm assuming)

Seems to be full size, with a big ol' fat SG neck ..

He's offering me the guitar plus a Boss Blues Driver for the yamaha...Any thoughts....
