I need some opinions on Antiquity II Tele pickups, I seem to find little on these versions of Tele pickups. I was looking at them for my MIJ '62 Tele custom. I wanted to keep the look period correct while enhancing the sound of the guitar. I wound give the Ant I's a shot, but the body is basswood and VERY warm sounding. From what I understand, the Ant I is also a warm sounding pickup because of the AII magnets and I'm afraid I wound get mush from this combo. Has anyone tried the Ant II's for Tele? I'd be very interested to hear your opinions.

Here's a clip taken off a digicam bootlegged show, don't expect awsome quality, I did what I could. This is one of our attempts at a classic rock feel with a metal side. Progessive does mean wierd doesn't it? haha

I know most of us have recognized Rivera amps for some time as quality musical products, but I have reason to renew your enthusiasm for a company that I believe is still underappreciated. I just picked up a used Rivera Fandango 55W 2X12 combo ( powered by EL34s ). Its versatility, tone, and down-home no-apologies-bad-assed-tube-amp-on-steroids-attitude is exceptional. If you prefer 6L6GC power tubes, the Quiana is a close relative of the Fandango thus equiped. A cheaper 1X12, and a more powerful 100W 2X12 is available for both the Quiana and the Fandango models. So I've had this set in my tele for three weeks tomorrow. Iquot;ve done everything but take it to a jam which is where the true qualities will come out I'm sure, but thus far this is what I've got.

When your picking on a guitar with a middle pickup at it's (according to the duncan instructions anyway)Optimal height at about 3/16quot; from the strings do you pick quot;overquot; the pickup? e.g. does the pick pick the strings directly above where the middle pickup is?

I have borrowed a Leslie stompbox from the local store and to be honest i don't know what a great/quot;perfectquot; Leslie sound is, so please name some artists for me to check out who have either a real leslie or a pedal, and some songs to if you like.

My other guitarist has the Attax 200 and the tone rips paint off the wall. Having the same tone live makes a difference! Lemme know!!

Been thinking about trying this one out, although I'm not sure what one of the hybrids would sound like with a Custom slug coil on top of a Screamin' Demon screw coil on the bottom?
