I have an SG with old kluson style tuners on it. what are the best replacement Kluson style tuners out there? Iquot;m looking at Grovers and Schallers, etc, but Iquot;m open to anything. I don't want to have to drill and stuff if possible, but if you want to recommend something else, by all means do so. Thanks guys.

So, I have some Matchless Amps and I LOVE the clean amp; the grit.

I Just bought some new seymour duncan pick ups for my guitar and i have 3 single coil pickups and 2 volume and 1 tone pot and a 5 way selector to sell. i have no wire or anything else just the pick ups and pots and selector. im only looking at about 20 bucks for everthing because its used and their off of an aria guitars so. just need some more money to pay off the new pick ups.

As you might be able to make out, in my Avatar my 1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom has a stripped finish on the maple top. I bought it like this second-hand. Does anyone know if theres any tonal reasons why someone would do this, apart from looking quite cool and a bit unique. I think Mick Ronson also did this on his custom.

I just refurbished my 1980's-something Charvel with a CC in the Bridge, APS Flat Single Coil RWRP in the Middle and Alnico Pro II in the neck. 5 way toggle (wired in typical 5 way strat fashion, no coil splits etc) one volume and two tones (all brand new CTS 500k's) and hoveland cap.

Someone in another forum was asking me what I thought of this Squier Strat. I notice that its made of agathis. I seem to recall that agathis isn't that great of a tone wood, but I'm not sure.

Okay, I'm thinking of possibly upgrading from my Vibrolux to a Vibro King. Anyone out there own one, or have experience with this amp? what's a good secondhand price at the moment?

I just rewired my knockoff Strat, and when all was done... It didn't work. But, I think i know what the problem was. The 5-way switch I have is different than the one in the diagram. Instead of having 4 contacts on each side, all 8 are on the same side and they are numbered 1-2-3-0-3-2-1. Thanks for any help.

A part from picking a V30 and the G12H-30s together for great tone,how is the overall quality of the cabinet....
