Was 1981 a bad year for Lesters? I'm looking at one, it's a beat up Silverburst, and from the pics it appears to be a Studio (no binding, dot inlays). Dude wants $550.

I have 6 saddles off of a hardtail fender licensed bridge i have been hanging on to for my high e. I wont ever use all 6 so if anyone wants one let me know. I am parting with 3 of them.

Well my model 2 is getting its new nut today as soon as I finish filing it I believe, and now is the time to find it a new bridge pickup. 9fingers sent me an OBL450L for it but it has way too little output, it will go in the neck position for some powerful cleans (great pickup by the way!). The bridge position needs to have a hum cancelling pickup with A LOT of output (there is no midboost on this guitar... so I'd say around 15.5K or more of DC resistance on the SD scale. It needs to have quite a tight sound, with tight bass, and as much mids as possible. Basically a FullShred in SC size Will the hotrails provide this? I have no idea how open or tight it is... Other participants are the GFS Hot killer for Strat and the DiMarzio Fast Track 2. SD wise, I'm hesitating between the Hotrails and the Lil' Screaming Deamon. Feel free to suggest anything else!

Yes I've been thinking 'bout cabs for my jcm 900 50 watt head, and first I looked at the Marshall 1936 cab, which is a 2X12, but just found a 4X12 cab in a store here, for about the same price, and it has two celestion v30's in top, and two celestion hot 100 in bottom for massive bottom end (that's what it says), and it's a Hughes and Kettner cab, don't you think I should go for that instead of the 2X12, since they're the same price, and I guess it would be nice with a good bottom end?!?

I've heard mixed reviews, many not so good on Carvin Amps, I was wondering if anyone has tried their Vintage 212E extension cabinet? Price looks good and they're equipped with G12 30 celestions.
