I'm doing this thread/poll to see what folks prefer the tone of. I am hoping it might later serve as a guide to those seeking the ultimate in Fender tone, or helpful for people searching for their unique tone. I hope Scott can get a bit of insight as well.

POD XT (regular) and VAMP
Ok guys due to tone and recording problems, I was recommended to buy the Pod XT ( from : localhost/I wanted to know a couple of things:
1. If there is great Metal Tone for Metallica/Megadeth/Pantera/Maiden and such. I heard that there's a Mesa Boogie preset and I was wondering if it gives a metal enough tone.

My final amp idea!
Alright, I have come to wonder if I should stick with the Hot Rod Deluxe, and replace the stock speaker(Special Design Eminence® 8 ohm, 50 watt Speaker) with something else that would sound great when being used as a 112 without any extension...Something SUPER Fendery and smooth and high wattage for high headroom...What replacement speaker is going to give me simply the best tone from this amp?
