Hey all. I'm looking for a mini humbucker that can blend well with a JB.

Ok, so I just spent about 30 minutes with this little pedal. As a baseline comparison I used my unmodded GE-7, I just daisy chained them, mine first, then Johns, so I could switch back and forth. 57' RI Les Paul into the GE7, into the Blues Jr, master volume dimed. Bass set at 6, treble set at 5, mids at 5, reverb 2. Channel volume at 4, so as not to get too much pre-amp distortion. All into my Marshall 4x12 with Gt12-75's.

Has any experienced Guitar builders out there ever made Kramer Baretta style strat shapes? I have been wanting to build my own hand made Kramer 5150 for years and i have made a few strats before in the past....

which pup for Mars Volta sound, which neck pup is a good match, and how do they go split.

I wanted to show you guys pictures of two of my favorite amps and guitars in my collection but I couldn't get the photos to download for some reason.

I'm thinking about trading in my Mark IV for an Orange AD30H, (something simpler).

For the first time ever I've started using effects pedals. Really like the Sparkle Drive, Small Stone, Electric Mistress and Analog Chorus pedals.

Is it any good? Could it be used for metal, even though Van Halen plays rock?
Has anyone here recorded anything with it?

I'll give a detailed review later, but I took some pics right away. Let me say right off the bat this guitar blows away all the gibsons and PRS guitars I've ever played. Carvin struck gold with this model. I wanted to go kind of easy on the wallet too, but I didn't spare expense on options, just saved money by going with a painted finish. Grand total came just shy of $950.
