i was flippin through something guitar center sent me the other day amp; i saw a drum machine in there, i had been wanting to pick one up for a while just dont know which one to get...suggestions ?

To those that have owned and can compare these, how do each of the speakers compare to the other, as in EQ, smoothness, cleans, crunchy, overdriven, etc? I'm planning to buy a 412 soon (probably a Mojo Tone 412) and load it with speakers. I play mainly a blues-rock / alternative style through a Mesa/Boogie Rectoverb Combo with a Les Paul, for reference.

Well, picked up the local classifieds today, and i seen one of these in it, For 450$ canadian, i think i can get it for lower. In my band i primarily play sabbath based stuff. I know its a fender but i just wanna see what its like, says its 100watts so its louder than my current amp, and its 2 channels as opposed to my silvertones 1, anyways what do these things sound like? good? bad?

I'm in search of Jazzmaster Antiquity 2s. Anyone have a particular favorite place they shop with?

hi guys, i got a question does the hot rail work better with a 250k or a 500k pot???
now on my strat i use it with a 250k pot. but i'm not sure if it's better to chance it to 500k or not

My Genny is driving me nuts. I can't just go out and buy another guitar just now. If it was going flat, that would make some sense to me, but its going sharp. Today, the low E string is 20 - 30 cents sharp. The high E string around 10 cents sharp, and the other strings progressively in between.

One of my students was asking me today about cheaper Marshall type amps. He's buying his first 'real' amp and is tied between a Fender type (I told him if he goes with the fender thing he's got a tie between the Fender Devilles and the Peavey Classic range) and a Marshall type. I didn't know what to tell him about the Marshall type sounds from a cheaper valve combo.

how do you adjust the truss rod in guitars? how do you know when the truss rod in your guitar is set up properly?

Does anyone know the hole size for the Fender Ping tners on the MIM standard strat?
I'm thinking of picking one up and would want to replace them...
