Ok, maybe I'm exagerating but I have an old Stagg acoustic and now I found out they are back in business with improved woods.

i was thinking about building a guitar using an asian alder neck with a rose wood fretboard and a basswood body dose anybody now the charictaristics of these woods (ecspesaly the alder neck) and how theyl interact with each other i think eric clapton and jeff beck strats come with alder necks but im not sure thanx

Hey everyone i'm a first time user here in the forum and was wondering If you guys could help me out with a pickup selection for my guitar. I recently recieved my custom made carvin DC and its a great guitar, i love everything about it except for the pickups. They are ok, but they aren't specialized enough for what i play. I do a lot of heavy metal like Lamb of God, Children of Bodom and Shadows fall, but i also play a lot of shred too.

hi, I'm new in the forum, but for what i've seen it's a pretty nice community .i recently got a Godin SD and I'm planning on changing the PU's for SD's, but i'm not so sure on what combination to choose.I mainly enjoy playing fusion, but would like to have a versatile sound palette to choose from(in other words: be able to rock, but able to play soft jazz too)I was thinking of the seymour custom for bridge(i've red that the JB is too nasal), the vintage rails for the neck(mainly because frank gambale uses it) and maybe the '59 (or something like that) in the middle position.hopefuly you people can give me some advice on this.i'll write some details from my guitar and thank you in advance: body : maple center with poplar wings neck : maple with rosewood fingerboard bridge: standard tremolo 24 frets short scale neck(24.7) H/S/S configuration

Boss DR-3 Drum machine, does drums and bass, like new. I bought it without the manual, I downloaded the 128 page manual and burned it to disc. PM me for more details. I need a delay pedal or let me know what you have to trade, or $125 shipped. It's kinda cool to put headphones on and play along with the bass guitar lines it does and the drum patterns too.

Yeah, do you think the JB will do heavy metal a la Iron Maiden good? I know it probably won't be the same kind of tone as Maiden has, but will it still be cool? Has anybody here made a Maiden cover with a JB, or a song in the same type of spirit?
