I've been looking for a great Jazz box to add to my GAS list, my friend has an Ibanez somethingoranother and it plays nice and has held up great. I'm not looking to spend an arm and a leg. I seen a guy in some restaraunt(sp?) in ATL playing one of these and it sounded so beautiful. I'm curious if anyone here has had any expierence with it and if it would be a worthy buy... I'm getting a job here in the next few weeks and after I buy my main-rig stuff, I'm buying some playtime toys as well, so start voicing your opinion!

Not a huge update, but I thought I would put up a few pics. This is still the same cheapo testing neck in all pics, so please ignore the wood filler and misc holes I've got two gauges of fiber and I'm waiting on a shipment since I ran out of one gauge, so I should have everything up and running pretty soon.

Anybody know anything about these guitars?

Would a Dimarzio Super Distortion be too dark and bassy in the bridge position of a mahogany body 25.5 scale 24 fret guitar? The type of sound I'm aiming for is something similar to Venom's 'Black Metal' album. I was also considering the Duncan Distortion, but I was afraid it might be a bit too bright. I already got that sound covered with the 500T in my other guitar. But I guess I'd rather have this guitar be too bright than too bassy. Does anybody think that the Super Distortion will work out ok though? Or will it be too bassy for the sound I'm looking for?

Ok, I´ve decided to change my EMG-HZ on my jackson DXMG, so im gonna get a JB for the bridge, but im still unsecure with what i will buy for my neck, i want a dimarzio, so, any advice, probably de PAF Joe DP213 , or Humbucker from hell???? Im into all kinds of music, including fusion, rock, a little metal, jazz, funk, pop. !!

What's the difference between the A2P and 59 output? And is it something that a pickup height adjustment cannot compensate?

All of this talk about the PG has me wanting an A2 mag to try in mine, anyone got one?

Hi there. I got my SG back a little while ago from having a new nut installed, and since then I've been getting a lot of buzz on the wound strings on the lower frets, and even when I play the wound strings open. Do you think the tech cut the nut slots too deep? What else could be causing this?
