Hello-
The Cort M-800 Hollow body looks like a pretty sweet guitar? Any body know anything about these, and how much they usually go for used? I'm thinkin they are a poor man's PRS.

thinking of getting rid of JB, getting lower output pups
hey guys, i'm really getting tired of the JB in my SG. i think i really want a more classic sounding, lower output pickup, possibly a duncan 59. i still have the stock neck pickup, but i'm thinking if i'm gonna switch the bridge pickup, i might as well do both this time around. so right now a set of 59's for neck and bridge seem to be the way to go, but i figured i'd pop in here and see if you guys had any other suggestions.

Temperature concerns and protecting my guitars......
Well it got hotter in my house today than I had expected. I checked the house temperature tonight and downstairs it got up to 87 degrees. I'm concerned because my guitars are kept upstairs in my room and I can imagine it probably reached over 90 degrees upstairs today. I'm very concerned about all my gear but I'm especially concerned about my Les Paul due to the fact the finish on them are touchy when it comes to temperature.... I read in the owners manual that if it gets to hot or to cold the finish can checker...... So I'm very nervous about that. Both of my guitars are always in their hardshell cases when I'm not playing them. I don't have a/c or a cool basement at my house so I just don't know what I can do to protect my gear. Theres only one place I can think of that i could put my guitars downstairs (in a closet with a crawl space) which would keep them somewhat cooler considering it would be downstairs. Anyways I just am a little concerned about this. What should I do? Or am I worrying to much about it? If you are in the same situation I am with no a/c or a cool basement what do you do with your gear to protect it?

Old pickup
I have been trying to track down some info on an old pickup. I got this pickup in a box of various parts about 15 years ago. It is a pickup with the logo stamped on the back. There is also a sticker with either EV-M or EY-M printed on it, I can't quite tell which. Any ideas on what model this is?

JB vs. PG?
Please compare these pups. According to the specs/tone chart they look similar. One thing I'm intreged by is that it looks like the PG as a little more mids(true or not true). I'm thinking of replacing a JB in my LP with the PG.
