I am now looking at 18 watt kits.

Does anyone have Hot Stacks? What do they sound like? I got a JB Jr for the bridge, but I think I want to exchange it for a hot stack and I want to replace My other pickups with no-hum singles (for a Gamp;Legacy). Would the Hot Stacks be good replacements? I would like a quiet slightly overwound single coil sound? From SRV to Yngwie

Hey guys... I have noticed several covers being hosted by Soundlick, yet they expressely forbid such covers, only original material unless you have copyright permission... Is this just a legal notice they don't enforce?

I remember seeing this metal apparatus that went over the front of the volume knob on a strat...on the top to keep you from knocking the volume while playing. But at the same time, the bottom half of the thing was open so you could still do volume swells. Does anyone know what this thing was called and where I could get it?

I just pulled out my Meltdown album after about 3-4 years, and now I know why. First Ripper Owens sucks, but mostly the guitar tones on that album are HORRIBLE.
They sounded real buzzy and harsh, and at the same time mushy and muddy , if that makes sense. I couldnt make out what htey were playing at times.

Just picked this combo up, but havent had a real chance to drive it yet...

I have seen some way crazy basses lately and i wonder, do you really need more then 4 strings? What do you think? Comment
