Hey everyone! I have an idea for my Standard Telecaster, and i'm wondering how i can get from here to there.....

I am looking at the Schecter Classic guitars. I know that most Schecters have quot;Duncan Designquot; pickups which are inferior to the s. The Classic is advertised as having the Seymore Duncan JB and Jazz pickups. Are these the real SD pickups or Duncan Design pick up? Any help appreciated

Guys I need help deciding on a guitar I'll probably get next summer. I play mostly rock, punk, and metal. The type of music I play is like Green Day, Weezer, Mxpx, Asian Kung fu Generation, if you guys heard that Jrock band, and shred metal. I trying to decide between the faded Les Paul Double cutaway with dual p90s and Ibanez Pgm model. I have fender strat you can see in my signature, that guitar can handle all those genres I can play most of others too. I don't if I should get the Double cutaway for pure rock tones of a Les Paul and p90s or get the PGM that is perfect for shredding and doing all the genres.

why doesnt schecter provide schematics for their guitars anymore? Anyone know where I can get a schematic for my schecter c-1 classic? It uses the schaller quot;mega switchquot; which I cant figure out and the duncan website doesnt have a schematic using this switch as 1)bridge full 2)bridge split 3)neck and bridge full 4)neck split 5)neck full. Any suggestions?

These have a red, a white and a shield.....one wire measures 8.9K, the other wire measures 4.9K when tested to the shield.....how are these supposed to be wired up? If I just go from red to white I get 4.5K? I mean I would expect another wire in there???? If you can clear this up for me I thank you in advance. Anyone know how these sound?

I`m selling a Genesis Mr Browney pickup in back, tremspacing w A2 magnet. It is said that this pickup is a great alternative to the SD EVH for getting the so called quot;brown soundquot; I`ve never heard the SD EVH so I can`t compare but with the right amp(or pedal) and guitar the Mr Browney will nail the old Van Halen tone. Ok, sometime next month I'll be getting a VHT Valvulator to put infront of my POD to give it more of a tube sound. This will be my first tube product, so my question is when the tube goes bad and I have to replace it, what kind of tube should I get? For starters, what's a good tube brand? And then there are so many different kinds of tube models that my head spins just thinking about it. Anyway I'd really appreciate some tube advice, thanks.
