So I am either going to buy a Banzai Fireball today (about $200) or I was thinking about a Peterson Strobe Stomp Tuner (also about $200). Or I could buy the Boss TU-2 with the daisy chain power supply to power all of my other pedals (including the new Fireball).

I've noticed that whenver I play my Flextone II with the master volume louder than 4, I get a lot of hollow-sounding feedback (doesnt matter if I'm close to the amp or not) and a very ugly-sounding, quot;WHARMPFFquot; sound about 1/2 a second after palm-muting a chord. Is the speaker f-ed up? I took it out and looked at it... doesnt look like it is. Would a new speaker fix this problem or is this just par for the course for a 60W Flextone II on 4?

I've got a Vox reissue and standard early 90's crybaby. I noticed the mods page that someone posted here and that was pretty cool... If I wanted to mod one of these to get a cutting, vocal wah sound, where do I start? I'm looking for a throughly modern wah sound under high gain, something along the lines of Zakk in BLS, Tremonti in some of the Creed songs, etc...

Anyone tried this mix of speakers in a 2x12 or 4x12? Opinions?

im looking for an amp thats price is around 350-400$. i need something bigger/ better than my fender frontman 15. i was looking at a peavy bandit but any other suggestions

I just installed a speaker in my new 1x12 cab. The volume is extremly low. I soldered the wires in the cab to the end of the speaker clips. I then put them on the speaker what is wrong?
