I was playing guitar last night and sitting close to my amp. I was playing high up on the fretboard, and I started noticing this quiet second note under the notes I was playing. It was a very faint lower octive of whatever note I played. What is this? It only happened when I was using distortion. I was plugged straight into the amp. Anyone ever experience this?

I'm looking for a cheap pair of studio monitors, but I don't really know anything about them to base my decision on. What makes some better than others?

Well... why aren't they used that often? How do they sound compared to 2amp;5s?

Ok so who has the pro's and con's of both, other than the fact that the xxx has 3 channels. I'm sort of torn between the two, but I havn't played the NEW 6505 yet. THanx!

as some of you know i'm not a huge marshall fan but the DSL100 wasn't bad when i tried it and was one of the high gain models i kinda like and would consider owning.
well, now marshall goes and builds this limited edition 1/2 stack in silver. call me a sucker for the looks but it's damn tempting now...
