Hey folks, got a FRED in the test axe and liking it - it's what I wanted the Demon to be, whereas the demon was a bit shrill. What I like about the FRED is that clean it sparkles, you can play clean all day amp; it is just gorgeous.

Fernandes pup ???
I've just been on the fernandes website, looking at their guitars with the sustainer pup. the thing is combined on the ravelle and the monterey with a JB and is suposed to act as a normal pup when the sustainer is desactivated.

Pedals, regardless of brand. Why ?
I've gotten in a dilema and now still deciding on which pedal to fit.
I've not really tested all of them but it seems that modding a pedal will be better.

hot rail/esquire help requested
well, i think i want an esquire with a hot rail. What i'm wanting out of this guitar is...well, with my bridge 59 the cleans cut through like nothing i've ever heard, but under distortion they seem to get quite a bit less cutting, so basically i'm looking for the exact opposite out of this guitar, something that cuts more when distorted, and has a mean, aggressive as all hell tone. I'm kinda worried about the rails mudding up though, cuz with the '59, as bright as it is, under a good ammount of gain it's JUST articulate enough for me to not complain, so yeah i guess i need a good ammount of articulation even under the most thick raunchy gain. Does the rail sound like the single coil for the job? I think the switch position that cuts out the tone controll should make that thing scream.

If you had 720 bucks...
what amp would you get. Keep the size to a minimum, something like a 2x10 or 1x12 combo.
