Suggestions on how to get that traditional jazz box sound on a Strat?

My 03' Standard will be more of a rock guitar I think. Therefore I believe it will get the 11.5K S Deco V, and keep the 59' Neck. This guitar sounds pretty good with a stock C5, but I want something just slightly more vintage, with some extra girth in the mids and lows. From what I read that sounds like the S Deco. The 59' really seems to suite this partictular LP, which is a rarity with me for an A5 bucker. I may at some point slip and A3 or A4 in there.

well, i went to a local guitar store today to basically see if they had anything new. they had a few things. what caught the eye, however, was a sea green dean palomino. 3 p-90 guitar. tried it acoustic for about 20 mintues and loved it. gutar feel. decent acoustic sound. sat nicely, played well. plugged it in, and loved it even more. killer sound from the 3 p-90's, and tons of different tone options, from blues to thourogood type sounds to rock-a-billy to flat out rock. played super well. friggin loved it. they were asking 499 for it, which if they would sell it to me for 400 i would buy it in a heartbeat, loved the guitar.

How is this pedal? again I have not tried it out and agian it's my buddy in UK who asked me for my opinon? Is it good or do you guys recomend something else?

What pickups did he use?

I'm just soldering it up in the guitar, but was wondering if it was normal for the resistance to change with a magnet swap. The PG measured 8.2k with the A5 mag and now reads 8.5 with the A2.

i have an ibanez smash box i wanna trade it for a pickup i will take customs (sh5) ,jb , distortion , just let me know what u got !!!!!!!!

Question in the title. I've never owned an american fender and so I don't know. The information could be useful in deciding what type of neck to get for my warmoth strat.

Man I love these pickups. Even more than the Texas antiquities in my other strat. The bridge has a great bite when over driven , and it's glassy but not ear piercing on the clean channel.
