Question in the title. I've never owned an american fender and so I don't know. The information could be useful in deciding what type of neck to get for my warmoth strat.
My '01 MIA had a dual truss rod.
Dual
you know, it's a damn shame you can't get a regular strat headstock dual rod neck from warmoth without that stupid side adjust. What a pisser.
Why don't you like the side adjust? I think it's a good idea - no visible holes, and no need to take the guitar apart.

Every person I know that has had experience with them has complained about it. Whether they are guitar owners or luthiers. Owners say they are a pain in the ass, repair guys have said it's a bad design.
