Hey, I own a Yamaha Telecaster copy that I've been meaning to change the pickups on it and I was wondering if an Invader in the bridge and a Pearly Gates in the neck would be a good combo? Or, if this is the case, a horrible combo? What would go good with an Invader?

I really want to try the Invader out and I'm looking for a good, ballsy neck pickup that can still sound good when put through the clean channel.

Also, can you help me find a replacement humbucker size bridge for a Telecaster?

Even if I dont' go with the PG or the Invader I still want to stick a humbucker in there.

I actually am, to tell the truth. I'm a huge COC fan, like, crazily. Although I'm not a big enough fan to learn their songs, I'm still a pretty big fan of their music.

I guess if Woody's got it like that it ain't a bad pickup combo...Anyway...I'd like to get more input on this.

I think it would be a decent combo, just remember the Invader has pretty boomy bass, good for palm muting chunkage, but not for everybody.
