Hello!
I have what I would guess is the dumb quesiton of the day. I bought a Seth Lover and P-Gates from a company and they arrived today. They are in the origional SD packaging and were unopened until I opened them. On the back of the Seth Lover was a signiture of Syymour Duncan and Seth E. Lover. Are those really those folk's signitures? I thought Mr. Lover had died a while ago, is it possible these have just been on the shelf that long?
I know, dumb question.
There's no such a thing as a dump question, only dumb answers...
Those signatures you see on the bottom of the SH-55 Seth Lover models are pad printed, not hand-signed.
As opposed the Antiquity pickups which have Seymour's original hand signature.
I know of only one set of pickups that have Seymour's and Seth's original signatures...
Now that makes more sense. Thanks!

Are they in the Duncan museum?
Not quite... they're in my Heritage H-150. That's the guitar Seymour's holding in the old quot;Master and Mentorquot; ad. You can see a water color painting of that same guitar (sans pickups) in the Antiquity catalog.
But thanks for asking!
The ink screen looks realistic to an old fart's eyes that is for sure!
