Am I dumb or what? How can I get the trem arm knob off? Its a normal Fender Vintage 6 screw trem arm and I dont like that knob...
thanks
Try heating the vib arm with a soldering iron as close to the knob as possible, then pull the knob off with a plyer.
I wonder if the tip of the arm under there is kinda rounded off or if it's sharp. I suppose if its sharp you can always grind it down...

They are typically kinda rough. I know I wouldn't want to use a trem bar with the plastic gone unless the tip of the arm was rounded off. If it's chrome plated, any attempt at rounding any edges will ruin the chrome.
The knob will come off with enough force. Heating it isn't a bad idea, but it can probably be done with a vise and good ol' muscle.
The trem arm for my Amer. Series Strat is threaded on the end. To remove the plastic piece I just have to unscrew it.
I like Erland's idea.I usually just cut them off,but you gotta have a feel for the material.
