GAS has been destroying me lately. Fortunately for my bank account, I've not bought anything yet. My two latest desires came earlier this week. First I stopped into the commission-sales-chain-store in town to see if there was anything new, and they had a used Hamp;K Triamp half stack for $1800. I played it for a bit and really fell in love. With six channels, I can get enough flexibility so i don't feel shorted (since I'm used to my GT). And they all sounded really good, IMO. The matching cabinet was a bit beat up, but looked solid and sounded fine.
Then there was a big sale at the non-commission-sales-chain-store in town (which I go to much more frequently) and they had the Genz Benz El Diablo head/G-Flex 2x12 (which I have really been digging since I first plugged into it) on sale for $1350. I really wanted to walk away with it, but I just couldn't bring myself to drop $1500 (close to it after tax) on an amp that day.

I'll be in the market for a fair watted amp head in the coming months (man a paying job rocks ) I don't really know anything about bass amps. It'll be used for a punkish/hardcore-ish/metalish sound. Cort Curbow bass (if I'm still the buyer, Slade ) with an Earcandy Bassbomb 300w cab is what it'll be used with. I dunno what else I need to tell you.

WTF?

Now can someone explain to me. Say I put a Soundhole pickup into my acoustic (for reference an LR Baggs M1). Now where exactly am I connecting the instrument cable? I doubt the cable is going right into the soundhole so can anyone clear this up for me.

It's a 1960 Historic Reissue from the Custom Shop. It left the factory in early 2005 and the price is $1850. I was told it comes with Burst Buckers. Anybody have one or play one of these bad boys? I am not familiar with this series.

Is this a decent model for an older Kramer? I know it isnt one of the top of the line ones like the Nightswan, but is this better than the current musicyo offerings? Thanks
